What a day! On Saturday, September 26, Jones County Public Schools brought the school spirit to the Annual Jones County Heritage Festival, and we had an absolute blast!
If you were out bright and early for the morning parade, you couldn’t miss us! District leadership kicked off the festivities riding in style aboard one of our classic yellow school buses, waving to the crowd and setting a high-energy tone for the day.
Our amazing Career and Technical Education (CTE) club students were out in full force! From marching in the parade to hosting interactive booths throughout the festival, these talented future leaders showed off the hands-on skills, creativity, and hard work that make our district so proud.
Meanwhile, our dedicated Student Services team was on the ground all day, connecting face-to-face with parents and families. They answered questions, shared valuable resources, and made sure everyone left with the tools needed for a successful school year.
A huge thank you to everyone who said hello, waved at the bus, or supported our students. We love being a part of this incredible community!
